Part-time Media Planner

Sagent, one of the fastest growing, most sought-after social marketing firms in the Sacramento region, is looking for a part-time Media Planner to help plan and place media for our clients. We work with public agencies, nonprofits and socially beneficial companies to create campaigns across California that promote behavior change by influencing people to make healthier, safer and more sustainable choices.

If you have at least two years’ progressive experience planning and placing integrated multi-media campaigns in all forms of media outlets – including print, out-of-home, digital and broadcast – and know the value of keeping up-to-date on advertising trends, keep reading . . .

Would you enjoy working both as a part of a collaborative team to develop strategies and also independently to plan and manage all aspects of media planning and placement?

Working with our Media Director, you would research media options to meet our clients’ goals, target audiences and budgets. Then you’d negotiate with media vendors to acquire cost-efficient and budget-conscious advertising space and sponsorships, including negotiating significant added value. Working with our accounting & media assistant, you’d also help monitor the purchased media to make sure ads appear as planned at the price negotiated. And you would work with our new business team to help develop media plans for proposals. The position is part-time (estimate 20 – 25 hours per week depending on work flow) with the ability to grow into fulltime as we continue to grow.
