Anne Staines
President & CEO
As Sagent’s President & CEO, Anne will direct and oversee all agency strategies.
Anne began her career as an intern at Disneyland and later worked at a major advertising agency managing clients like Mattel and Columbia Pictures. Seeking more meaningful work, she founded Sagent in 2004, a purpose-driven marketing agency focused on creating positive change. Anne combines social psychology with marketing to craft campaigns that move people, leading to impactful efforts such as the “Report Drunk Driving – Call 911” campaign, which became a turning point in reducing DUI fatalities in California.
Anne has 30 years of experience in research design, integrated social marketing plan development, and strategic outreach and communications. She is also a recognized expert at developing partnerships that bring additional resources, community participation, and visibility to campaigns. Anne has led Sagent in negotiating more than $113 million in partnership contributions and leveraged media donations through public-private partnerships.
Anne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing, with an emphasis in Advertising, from CSU Fullerton.
